Today, I spent the morning photographing South African artist Henry Jackman. What a fascinating man. I had never met someone from South Africa before and his accent blows me away. I think he was speaking Dutch to me about half the time. This shoot took a little work to get off the ground. Several phone calls from his art director in Nigeria.....that's right Nigeria....were needed to make sure we had the right concept that he was looking for. I love shooting on location. Everyday there is a new challenge to deal with. I know I could never sit in the studio everyday, shooting against the same backdrop, using the same light setup, yada, yada, yada. Oh it would be easy, figure it out one time and shoot everybody the same, just like the department stores do. I would end up in the nut house!
That is awesome!! Where did you shoot these? And BTW...you are already on your way to the nuthouse my friend :)
